[AcoustiFan DustPROOF 80mm] "You're not
paying for bling, you're paying for silence and longevity
of usage... The AcoustiFan DustPROOF Ultra Quiet Low
Vibration Cooling Fan receives a Gold Award (yes, silence
is golden) and an Editors Choice Award."
"After
taking everything into consideration, the AcoustiFan DustPROOF
series is a pretty good buy. Keeping with the AcoustiFan legacy
of dead silent performance, the DustPROOF fans life expectancy
has been extended with the seal as well as dampening sound
from the internal components even further. Silence comes at
a price, each fan doesn't push as many CFMs as other fans.
But with a proper fan configuration in your case cooling shouldn't
be a problem.
"We recommend this fan to everyone who needs to replace
that noisy, rattling fan, wants a quieter PC, and expects
their fans to serve your PC for at least a system upgrade
or two, if not longer." GOLD Award & Editors
Choice

[AcoustiFan DustPROOF 120mm] "Easily the
quietest I've tested (and I've seen and heard everything from
Antecs to Sunons, YSTechs, Panaflos and even Radio Shack howlers).
Up to this point, the Panaflo has been my favorite for noise,
but this fan is much quieter."
"Slowing a fan to lower its noise output is standard
practice among modders, and it's nice to see that AcoustiFan
has made this a plug-and-play affair.
" ...it needs to be used in a case where the airflow
has been well thought-out and it shouldn't be relied upon
to cool the entire case by itself. Use common sense. A non-overclocked
machine running within specs should be just fine if everything
has been well-designed for airflow and cooling.
"At 12 volts, there was a barely noticeable hum, and
I mean barely noticeable. At 7.5 Volts, the hum disappeared,
and at 5 volts I held the fan right up next to my ear and
I couldn't hear it... The Acoustifan ultra-quiet [DustPROOF]
fan is indeed very quiet, the quietest I've ever (not) heard."

[AcoustiFan DustPROOF 80mm & 120mm] "[Acousti
Products'] AcoustiFan DustPROOF fans are incredibly
quiet. With the ability to protect the motor from dust, they
will certainly last longer, possibly making them worth the
expense."
"We all know that dust increases a fan's noise over
time. Put that new quiet fan in, and a couple of months later
it is a little louder than it used to be. That is why [Acousti
Products] has developed a dust free fan... Both [fans] are
incredibly quiet when running in full mode, though, the 120mm
does have a light hum to it when running at full speed. You
have to be within a couple of feet of it to hear this hum...
On the mid and low settings, I could not hear any fan noise.
There was very little wind noise as well. Neither fan puts
out a lot of volume; therefore, if you need strong airflow,
these might not be the fans for you... AcoustiFan's No Dust
fans are incredibly quiet. With the ability to protect the
motor from dust, they will certainly last longer, possibly
making them worth the expense.
Pros: Extremely quiet, Keeps dust out of
motor, Long warranty, Comes with cables to control speed
Cons: Cables are not convenient when wanting
to switch speeds, Expensive
Rating: Very Good"

[AcoustiFan DustPROOF 80mm & 120mm] "After
firing the PC up, I had to check to make sure the fans were
running at all."
"The
fans felt solid and heavy compared to the stock fans I am
replacing. AcoustiFan has designed these fans to last. The
DustPROOF construction means the fan is designed to
keep harmful dust out of the motor, effectively keeping the
motor quiet and prolonging its life...
The fans were inaudible over the system even at full load.
I was initially concerned about a noticeable drop in airflow,
but the total CFM reduction was not measurable in system temperature...
Although these little guys are not cheap, if you are tired
of the constant droning, give these a whirl." Overall
Rating: 9.5/10

[AcoustiFan DustPROOF 80mm & 120mm] "As
far as performance, the DustPROOF fans I used both
provided ample air flow, and without a doubt were much quieter
than my cases stock fans."
"Even when compared to the quietest Panaflo low flow
fans, the DustPROOF fans look really attractive. Couple this
with a 3 speed adjuster, as well as a 6yr expected lifespan
and I believe these fans are a good choice for anyone looking
for the quietest fans possible for their system."

[AcoustiFan DustPROOF 80mm & 120mm] "If
you are looking for fans to get a quiet computer, then this
is what you have been looking for, and for those of you who
are looking for fans that transport a lot of air, then look
no further."
"The most impressive thing with these fans is the DustPROOF
feature. This solution protects the fan engine from dust and
also filters away noise from the engine. It's almost impossible
to find anything to complain about, except the price. Besides
this all we can say is that these fans are top notch quality
and the performance compared to the sound level is nothing
less than excellent!"

"Without a doubt the best system fan I have come across.
I have 2 of these babys in my media centre, they work silently
and effectively. Hats off to you guys." Paul,
UK.
"I have 2 of these fans funning quite well on a Zalman
ZM-MFC1 controller 5-10.5Volt range. They work fine and produce
very little noise." Steve, UK.
"As for the noise level, the overall
project [Jonathan made a 'computer kennel' for his PC!] has
made a big difference. I can now sit at my desk and hear low-level
sounds on my monitor speakers, as well as recording acoustic
instruments in the same room. The fan is supremely quiet.
It begs the question why computer manufacturers don't use
them in the first place." Jonathan, UK [AFDP-12025B
with Silicone Fan Gasket]
"Excellent - totally quiet. I have highly recommended
this company to my friends, it is excellent." Robert,
UK.
"Perfect don't change a thing." Jennifer,
Canada.
"These fans live up to their expectations and I plan
on acquiring more of them in the near future. I used to have
to talk over my computer, now I have a hard time telling if
it's on." Alex, USA.
"I have purchased one of these as my room is really
dusty and it really works well." Robert, UK.
"Added it to my old Antec case. Works great." Dennis,
USA.
"I bought this fan earlier this month to improve airflow
in the silent mATX case I had recently built. The purpose
was to create a silent and cool PC. I achieved this using
two of these 120mm fans and a pair of rubber mounts. I am
very happy with them." Alexander, USA.
"It is the quietest fan I have used" Ben,
UK.
"Really nice quality, and good airflow. It was so quiet
I had to double check that I'd actually plugged it into the
motherboard." John, UK.
"Real good fan, the best I have tried yet, silent with
good airflow." Christoffer, Sweden.
"This is an excellent fan for case cooling. Even at
full speed it is almost inaudible." Giannis,
Greece.
"I just installed two AcoustiFans into a very noisy PC that I use as a security monitoring system. The 80mm 8025B with mounting isolators replaced the rear case fan and the 70mm 7025B replaced the CPU fan. The system is so quiet I can hear the disk's heads move. I no longer hear the screaming cheap CPU fan from the next room. Thank you!! The fans were worth the money." Craig,
USA.
